Briefly what we know.
1943 : A rabbit club called Gloucester City Domestic Club was in existence.

1944 : The Gloucester & District Domestic Rabbit Club Sec was G. Potter . 1 Richmond Ave , Coney Hill Gloucester.
In 1944 there were 12 other Gloucestershire Clubs affiliiated to the British Rabbit Council. For details click here:
1953 : The Gloucester & District Domestic Rabbit & Fanciers Society was still in existence.
1969 : A show advert .
1970 : The club was named as Gloucester & District Fanciers Society as this time . The Secretary was Mr. Brian Kemp of Painswick.
1971 : The Secretary was now R. Jackson of Brockworth.
1972: The Secretary was now back to Mr. Brian Kemp but now living at Eastcombe , Nr Stroud.
1973 : I am not sure if this was run by Gloucester club but it was local to us.

1974 : Brian Kemp has now moved to Cheltenham.
1978 : President : Glyn Johnson . Chairman : Dan Wright . Vice Chairman : William Cooke . Sec / trea : Mrs Margaret Newman . Committee : D. Brooks , B Edwards , B Newberry , P Newman , Mrs Newberry , Mrs G Pearl , Miss L Richards , Mrs P Tilling . Junior Committee : M Cook , P Fisher , G Knight , T Newman.

1983 : Des Skillern was our Secretary.: Aubrey Williams, Chairman.: Bill Cooke , President.: Pete Newman, Show Manager.: Shows were being held at Upton st Leonards Village Hall.

1985 : Pat Duffy becomes Show Manager. Some show results from 1985
1986 :
2000 : Pat Duffy , Chairman. Aubrey Williams , Secretary , Nick Vye Show Manager.
We also have old trophies marked as Gloucester Fanciers Club , one of which is the Peerless award for best Belgian Hare under 5 months so quite where they fit into our past it is not known
